Description : Police Officer
The City of Granite Falls, located in SW Minnesota, population 2,737, is currently accepting applications for the position of a Full Time Police Officer. The Police Department generates approximately 2,800-3,400 Initial Complaint Reports per year and consists of 6-Full time officers, including a Chief of Police, an Assistant Chief of Police, 3-Patrolman, a School Resource Officer, and a handful of part-time officers. Applicants must be MN POST licensed or eligible to be POST licensed. Starting salary range is $50,252 to $65,312 depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefit package. Applicants must possess a valid Drivers License, pass an oral interview, and pass a full background screening including a psychological examination and a medical physical.
