Granite Falls is...
an environment where business thrives and succeeds.

We strongly support your purpose of improving your bottom line.  Our purpose is to raise income levels, expand the tax base and create new employment opportunities.  When we work together we both succeed.

The three facets of successful development; land, labor and capital, are available in Granite Falls.  We are committed to our existing and potential clients to assist, and when needed, bring appropriate resources together.

In partnership with private and public lenders we use targeted economic incentives to enhance business investment in Granite Falls.  The local incentives include, but are not limited to, Tax Increment financing, the Minnesota JOBZ program and a local Revolving Loan Fund.  Depending on the nature of the development there are other targeted incentives that can fit into the development package as well.

We have a proven track record that is based on integrity, commitment and hard work, by both of us.   Our experience is broad-based, creative and innovative and has led to a number of successfully implemented economic development projects.

The Granite Falls Minnesota West Campus has been training people for work since 1965.  They will design programs for any special needs your work force might have, as well as providing on-the-job training.

Granite Falls Industrial Park

The Granite Falls Industrial Park consists of 240 acres of land zoned specifically for industrial use.  Seventeen of the parcels are privately held and developed with industrial uses while the remaining seventeen parcels, owned by the City, range in size from three to forty acres and are available for your use.

The Industrial park is located on the east side of Granite Falls and is within two miles of the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 212; State Highway 23 connects Duluth with Sioux Falls and Federal Highway 212 connects Minneapolis with Watertown, South Dakota.

Each Industrial Park lot is served by nine ton streets, sewer, water, three-phase electrical, natural gas and has broadband access available.  All improvements were upgraded to industrial standards in 2003; all special assessments will be paid by us, for qualifying companies.

Incentives including JOBZ, Tax Increment Financing (TIF), local Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) loans, Regional Revolving Loan Funds and State Revolving Loan Funds are available for qualifying companies.
